Johnny Got a Threatening Letter — His Friend Wasn’t Ready for the Punchline

“I’m scared,” Johnny said nervously to one of his friends. “I got a letter from some guy who said he’d break my legs if I didn’t stop seeing his wife.”

His friend raised an eyebrow, thought about it for a moment, and said, “Well… I guess you’ll just have to stop seeing his wife.”

Johnny shook his head. “Easy for you to say.”

His friend looked confused. “You like her that much?” he asked.

Johnny sighed and replied, “It’s not that.”

“Then what is it?” his friend pressed.

Johnny held up the letter and said, “The problem is… he didn’t sign his name.”
