Jeremy and his mom tried to paint me as “dramatic” to neighbors. It didn’t matter — the papers from the court were public record and the reality was plain: I had been paying them, and I had the receipts to prove it. The humiliation was theirs.
The best part? I didn’t just get money back — I got my dignity. My kids saw that their mom wouldn’t be taken advantage of, and that lesson matters more than any check.
